A lil while ago I told my mom that almost all of my fun socks were ruined
(I have a magical ability that allows me to make holes in socks easily)
And... well... I wore those socks a lot
I said I needed to get sum new ones soon

Well..... APPARENTLY my mom told ALL of my relatives to buy me socks
So... yep
I’ve opened 14 gifts
Some from my parents and siblings
Some from my grandparents
And then some from uncles and aunts

I have gotten one gift that wasn’t clothing
So... yeah.
The thing is.. yes. I wanted socks
But I wanted to buy some for MYSELF so that they were ones I actually LIKED
But no... I got short ones, super ugly ones, ones with rainbows and unicorns, ones with ugly, cutesy animals, and super think, fluffy ones
That’s all things I don’t want

I’ve pretended to like all of them... or at least not be upset about opening the 5th pair of socks
But like...
idk..
there’s something about opening the 13th present that you really don’t want

I’m trying not to be ungrateful
But legit I felt like crying... and idek why
But yes. Since they asked..
that’s why I disappeared to the bathroom
Lol

And then while I was sitting in one of the other rooms, trying not to cry again
I heard my mom and grandma talking
Pretty much saying I’m always ungrateful at Christmas no matter what I get
Nice.
