Your backgrounds are amazing! You have a good concept of color theory and your shading is really good! You have some really good chatacter designs, their clothing, their shapes, and their eyes!
One thing I suggest you work on is anatomy. Your hands are pretty good and with your newer style you seem to draw anatomy really well, but when you use your older style, the shoulders are a little wonky and the head is strange. As I have said with some other people I rated, I suggest trying to draw yourself, because you know your own anatomy better than anyone else. Look at yourself in the mirror and do a self portrait. Maybe start with front view, then change to side profile, then you can do three quarter view a lot better. If you think you need to work on hands a little more, obviously go for it. I would suggest you try to draw a character in a background sometime, since you usually draw either one or the other. Hope it helps!
