I lack empathy
The ability to understand and share the feelings of another
Yes.
That.
I lack that.
But there are 3 types of “empathy”
Compassionate empathy- is consistent with what we usually understand by compassion. compassion is about feeling concern for someone, but with an additional move towards action to mitigate the problem.
Emotional Empathy-when you quite literally feel the other person's emotions alongside them, as if you had 'caught' their feelings
Cognitive Empathy- basically being able to put yourself into someone else's place, and see their perspective.
And empathy(which I’ve already explained)
I relate most to -lack- of compassionate empathy
I lack a bit of all of them but just a bit
Either way I do lack empathy
And I hate that I do

And saying stuff about your last posts, I dont know how to handle people venting at all, not one bit, all I would know to do was crack jokes or send memes to lighten up the mood, other than that I dont know what to do
