"how bad is depression?"

My mom forces me like I have to be a math wizz and every time I fail a test even down to 60... My teacher also yells at me for suble reasons... As I comment this she had just e-mailed me saying I had to do math in a notebook and not how I normally do it... It started in November, when I got an F in math.... Every time I'm yelled at... I cut deeper and I hate myself so much....
Depression is not quirky or something to make fun of.. it's a hard thing to deal with...
