All three movies are connected...and two involve a man with over 20 personalities
And then there's also Serrowcwit ze three other personalities...

Well, this is just a random guess that sounds interesting to me
The guy may have several personalities, one of which killed his family
He said he didn't know the killer, so maybe he lost the light and then someone else took control
So...his actions were from his own hands and body...but not him
Which is why the evidence would point towards himself
