So like I've said before, I am not new to homophobia. Ever since I came out as a lesbian in 2017 and started my comic series that has a lesbian couple (Ruby and Rosa) as the main protagonists, I've been getting different versions of homophobia, whether it's super subtle or extremely blatant. Well I guess this Portuguese user got triggered by my art and decided to impose their homophobic agenda. 💀 Basically saying that LGBT art isn't allowed on this app and that I can be a lesbian but not "expose" it to the world. 😶 Um excuse me? Since when do you control an artist's sexuality and what they can and cannot draw and share with the world? I am 30 years old and I am VERY aware that there are kids present on this app. I'm also aware that there are a lot of kids on TikTok which is my main platform that I animate for. But there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with drawing LGBT art. We're artists. We're so free to express ourselves and who we are. I won't let someone's homophobic views ever stop me from doing that or being my true self. It's people like this homophobe here that make it so hard for people to come out and be themselves. I'm a grown woman and a dedicated artist who just happens to be a lesbian. What's wrong with that? It took me YEARS to discover my true self. Like I said, I finally came out of the closet in 2017. So imagine being closeted for that long and then finally getting your true wings. I'm happy with who I am as a person and an artist. I'm proud of every piece of art I make. I wish homophobia didn't exist but it does unfortunately. And we have to live with that. But you know what? The homophobes also have to realize that the world we live in is filled with LGBT husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, etc. You can't just shut it out and be ignorant. This user on here wants to report my art simply for being LGBT? They said they shouldn't be obligated to see it? Then your answer is easy, my friend. BLOCK ME!!! 🚫🚫🚫 If you really don't like what you see, it's easier to just block me then give me a huge unnecessary homophobic rant. Cause at the end of the day I'm proud of who I am and the artist I've become and continue to be. It doesn't matter what sexuality I am. Let people live their lives and just enjoy art. 💜💚🧡❤️💛💙 So with that being said, if anyone else has an issue with what I draw kindly block me please lol 🤣😂😭 Cause I refuse to change. 😌👍🏽 I mean I went back and forth with someone in Portuguese and Portuguese isn't even my langauge. 💀 I speak predominantly English and Spanish lol But I've gained so much international attention with my art over the years that I can recognize certain languages now cause I have fans all over. But yeah anyway, thank you to those who support me!!! For those who don't, it's whatever. Just let me be me. 🥰🏳️‍🌈✨
