jacket tutorial :)

per 𝐟allen ꪜirus’s request! this is just how i do it, not necessarily the best guide to them

-jacket tutorial! ft. OC’s, VG characters, etc. most parts of note will be in blue.
-many of my puffy jackets almost have rings around the wrists so they’re not oversized-looking.
-pockets are roughly halfway down or lower.
-i don’t always draw zippers, but i like to keep the, away from the very top because i think it looks uncomfy lol
-over-sized sleeves go OVER the palms, see?
-hoods meet around the center of the chin in a pointed tip that curls around the back.
-it drapes over the shoulders and droops down over the back. thin —> thick.
-almost like a U or a C, the hood can go lower or higher depending on the jacket size.
-drawstrings have a metal ring in the hood that they come out of. i keep them (the drawstrings) thinner.
-you can also draw them like this! (pictured: a jacket filled in with colour, drawstrings being single lines drawn with the eraser/white pen, rather than outlining.)
