Attack of the dead men (part 1)

A historical event that took place on the 6th of August 1916. After gassing the Russians 4000 German soildiers stormed the fortress of Osowiec, to their surprise less than 100 Russians survived and started fighting back, coughing up pieces of lung and covered in blood the Russians charged the germans. The terrified germans ran in fear and then were ordered to press the attack. Brutal hand to hand combat occurred. The Russians managed to hold the fortress for long enough so that they could destroy it giving the germans no tactical advantages. All 100 Russians died soon after.
