I fixed my sister's iPad it was much easier than I expected here's some advice to fix your own iPad when it shuts off randomly when it is charged

Ok first you hold the power button and the sound button and if that does not work hold it for 15 seconds and if that does not work just hold the power button for some time and then click restart and then you wait for some time and then you turn on your iPad or phone and then it should turn on normally I hope this advice helps you
