Oh sorry I just saw this, his back story is when he was born a crystal was shattered into his eye, (that’s why there’s the eye bandages) he was givin the power of fire from the gods, and he could use it how ever he want, he was a tool of war against humans, he won but the reason he cries is he remembers the sight of his lover dead and fading into thin air as his lover left a trail of roses behind.
