Al’s past

When Al was young he lived with his mother, father, and three brothers. At the age of ten he watched his father beat his mother to death, he was drunk at the time, his youngest brother got the police, his father was taken to jail for life and his brothers were taken in for adoption, he hid in the crawl space under the house when they came so he wasn’t taken. He lived alone for the rest of the time and learned how to hunt rabbit, when he turned thirteen he started hunting deer. At school he didn’t have friends, he didn’t really mind though. When he got into high-school he suddenly got quite popular, he loved to sing and joke around with people. Somewhere near the middle of his freshman year the school got a new student from Britain. His name was Richard, all of the ladies adored him but he never cared, he was always too busy reading or sorting his briefcase. He didn’t talk much but seemed to have quite the interest in Al, it was noticed even at the distance he was always at from everyone. Al was happy to be so popular, it meant nobody knew he was a cannibal. Slowly but surely Richard begin to drift into the crowds to talk with Al. He finally worked up the courage to speak with Al, they became friends extremely quickly, but Richard was always very timid and he always covered his face. Even though Al was fifteen at the time he didn’t understand how love worked. During senior year Richard began to open up to Al, they started holding hands and complementing each other more. The day of their graduation Richard finally got the courage to tell him why he was so flustered all the time and that he really did like him. They began dating.
