I know this prolly sounds stupid but

I really want to play the violin or a piano but I don’t think my mom would let me have an instrument , and the violin I used to always play it until a fucker at my school always told me I’m never gonna make it in 4th grade so I quit it, but now I would like to come back to that because it sounds so nice and I want to play it for the fun of it, but also the piano is nice too, I think I want to go for that one but it’s expensive as hell and idk what else to do, I’ve been having urges to ask my mom for a violin or piano or anything but she would want me to play it all the time or she’ll return it or idk because they do cost a lot
