Bc people can hold it for “straight pride” which is basically mocking gay pride,,
Since many homophobic ppl don’t see the point of lgbtq+ people expressing themselves even tho we’ve been oppressed for so long, which causes mockery and the attempt to silence us :)
Take ALM mocking BLM for example, it was only created to put down something else 🙏

+ straight people don’t really need a representing flag, yes there is an ally flag which says you are straight (tho there’s a rainbow on it, meaning you support lgbtq+), but every flag should be related or fall under lgbtq+ - it just separates you from straight people, giving you the availability to label and express yourself with something
Straight cis people don’t need that, they’re “normal” is societies eyes ^^

Cause LGBTQ is a community of people with differences and different sexuality a other than straight
