The story of how I came to Animemaker that no-one asked for,
When I was young I would sit on the couch with my dad. I was around like 4 or 5 and I started to get into art and drawing during that time.
I found an old notebook and tried to draw my favourite family guy character Chris.
I drew three large circles, some sort of clown nose, stick arms and legs, and when I went onto the hair I did it three times the wrong way because I was doing the picture portrait but when I did the hair I turned the paper landscape for some reason. This made it turn out like a certain youtuber but I can't quite but my finger on it? When I was a lot older and better at art, I got a phone and immediately started looking up drawing apps and one caught my eye a bit. This is when I started Animemaker and animation it's self really, I only had like 6 followers and one follower called PoePie A. PoePieA was my first ever really online friend of mine and he did just a random contest where you just draw any sort of character whether it was original or not.
I drew a character with a striking resemblance to my other drawing I did years ago, except with minor changes. For one thing he didn't have a nose and he didn't have the black hat I originally gave him. When I found out people were making there own little characters, I wanted to have one too. I decided either a caveman looking thing and just boots with faces, until I chose my regular design for the PoePieA contest.
And that's how Opie and his family were born.
So big thanks to PoePieA because if he didn't do that contest, I wouldnt have Opie
