Sum dum dum scientists made a illegal experiment with the embryo of a deer and added some features to see if it would still survive as an omnivore, it did and even somehow escaped. But due to it’s very lonesome nature, no group would accept them, and they do have quite a high intelligence to feel very lonesome and get self conscious. It still feeds on meat and plants but they have stomachaches often, poor thing doesn’t even know how to be itself.

This is a really cool concept 🥺🥺
Also here’s a little head-canon about it(you don’t have to accept it)
It scavenges, it dosent hunt. It’s deer like body type makes it difficult to jump up and tear at it’s prey. So instead it finds dead animals(not much of a preference) using its clawed hoofs to tear through the rotting meat.

But then again

Maybe it Dosent want to see any more pain
Maybe it just Dosent want to cause any pain
