one time i nearly drowned (story time)

so we had like a family meetup thing (i was 5 and couldnt swim) and a big pool was set up, now i wanted to go in, nobody was supposed to go in yet as we were still having lunch, when nobody was looking i hopped in quietly and started paddling, nobody noticed. i was okay until i got tired and weak from moving and my arms went bye- i dropped in the pool, desperately trying to get up to surface (the pool was deep) until my 9 year old cousin noticed and called my mom. luckily i survived (i knew to hold my breath) but i passed out for 10 minutes. when i woke up everyone was thankful and i never went into the pool without supervision again. i was kinda scared of the pool until i was 10 tbh cuz i used to think the pool was eating me lmao
