It’s mainly to keep people away from his home because his daughter as well as himself are in high alert, his daughter is being hunted and he is running away from being captured for cross breeding experiments

Well I can just summarize his updates
-giant winter coat even during summer
-2 kids, one teen girl and one adult male but still a child to him
-lives in a hut deep in the dead woods, called that because he kills anyone who goes in the woods and would spread their bodies around hanging them up or just have body parts nailed to trees
