Lol I’m going insane (vent kinda)

I’ve been more what’s the word.. scared? I’ve been a bit more scared recently of my surroundings, I keep having a feeling someone’s coming into my room and watching me while I close my eyes. I want it to stop, the only thing stopping me from crying is my cat, but she isn’t that much of a help either. Her purring gets rid of my thoughts though

Aaa that sounds absolutely terrifying I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this
Personally what helped me was wrapping so many blankets/pillows/stuffed animals around me that I could barely see and hear, also a consistent sound (I shake my leg but you can do other things like maybe soft noise on earbuds) to keep from noticing every shift of the house
