I just did the Neutral route (killing most of the monsters) but looked at the guide for Pacifist-

Now I have to restart the entire game and redo it in order to continue on to the Snowdin.
I JUST WANNA MEET SANS AND PAPYRUS, IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK FOR-

basically *sobs* I did the title and it wouldn’t let me continue on to the Snowdin. Like, I fought Toriel, it did dialogue stuff, showed the Undertale logo, and went back to the main menu. Didn’t even let me leave, I wasn’t able to pass through the door.
