Okay lets get this stuff clear

I've been seeing a lot of people doing the Mochi DTYS thing which im completely fine with but what im not fine with is the fact you people are making the characters skin so light like on the front page you can see side by side some other guys drawings skin tone that they choosed like I get it its not on the color pallet and is a custom color but when you make it so obvious that its lighter than the character its just fucked up I have even seen someone make her like pink color yes pink like wtf is it with people and doing this shit like its not that hard just going to dark brown and making it a bit lighter also if your someone who is using like ibis paint and just white washing the character youre a shitty person just use the eye dropper tool if you were planning to do that :) also dont fucking blame shit on lighting its a shit excuse its the same shit with the cookie run community white washing litterly every character just dont please and thank you

It only makes it lighter AND DARKER in some places. I don’t understand why they don’t want to use the excuse ‘It’s shadowing’ or dumb stuff like that. I am black, and I take offence from the fact that people think that ‘You have to be white and have straight hair to be normal/pretty.’ NOW FIVE YEAR OLDS THINK THIS IS TRUE. To be honest, I was one of those five year olds… even though I have curly hair and black skin and I am from Africa.
