So basically you're born either male or female but maybe you had always felt you were the opposite gender of what you were born with since you were a young lad (I'm using lad in a gender neutral way pls don't get mad ;-;). You can identify as the opposite gender of what you were born with. Many trans people (trans men usually) use binders (not a school binder *cries*). A (chest) binder can help with gender dysphoria when you are a trans male, non-binary, gender-fluid, etc. It helps by making one's chest appear flat. Top surgery and bottom surgery exist too.
