Do I Have a “DNI” List? 👀🤔

Well the simple answer is yes I do. 😌👍🏽 But is it one that I share publicly? 👀 No. 🚫 Lol It’s actually more of a “mental” DNI for myself.

Basically it’s just a mental list of people online I choose to completely ignore and not interact with, even if they attempt to interact with me numerous times. (And if I do choose to interact, I keep it very VERY minimal)

So what does it take to be on my Mental DNI? Well for me to not want to interact with somebody (or a group of people for that matter) it’s usually because of toxic behavior (such as homophobia, sexism, racism, bullying, dudes who make me uncomfortable, etc.) and unnecessary targeting/harassment of my sexuality, race, age, and art. (Or in special cases, someone who traces my art, refuses to give credit, and posts my art as their own)

But yea I have dubbed my little mental DNI group as “Klique Karen” since most of my negative interactions online do unfortunately come from white people, both male and female 👀😂😭💀 But that actually shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise because in the history of black people, there’s always been some groups of white people out there seething and hating on our successes and triumphs. 😌☕️ But that’s not to say that I don’t have any supportive white fans because I actually do and I appreciate all of them. 🥰💜 My fanbase is really quite diverse so yea. I’m specifically talking about “Karen Culture” individuals. 😬

And I rightfully call them “Karen” because honestly all I really do is stay to myself, draw/post what I want, and always keep things positive for myself and my fans…and yet I still end up targeted over petty reasons sometimes. 🙄 Then when these Karens or “Baby Karens” are called out/exposed, they immediately play victim 🤷🏽‍♀️🥱 (Just as you see how they do when they get caught on camera in real life even though their dumb actions have been fully recorded 🤣)

Lol So yea I just like to stay clear of anyone with “Karen Tendencies” or toxic people in general because it’s just not worth the time or trouble. I’d rather entertain and interact with people who genuinely enjoy my art instead of people who wanna just tear me down. 👌🏽✨
