Rant kind of

Why do parents put parental controls on kids phones? I mean yea, you’re the adult and want to monitor their kids, but not giving kids privacy will make them want to hide things more! And looking through their phone will make them feel the same way too.

Heck, I just want to text and joke with my friend without it being monitored, but NO! Who cares if I joke about inappropriate stuff? I’m not a baby anymore. I’m getting older. I just want one of my friendships to go right eithout those controls ruining everything… god. This is gonna drive me to my breaking point one day…
