Wat if "moon" was an illusion the entire time
so there's a book in the FNaF book series called the twisted ones.
in it, there was an invention called the illusion disk made by Afton Robotics, wich was, obviously, invented by William Afton. The main antagonist in the FNaF series.
the illusion disk is a small microchip that emits a high pitched sound that can only be heard by dogs, cats, or when you take the chip fom the robot. The high pitched sound scrambles the brain signals, making you see what the chip is programed to make you see.
Sun could possibly be the work of Afton Robotics, not only because of the illusion, but also the fact that he was DESIGNED to kill, and he has smooth, human like movements.
William afton was nothing but a computer virus at the time, due to his soul being in the system, so he couldn't have built him, wich mens some idiot found the designs for afton's anamatronics, and used them to build stuff.
not only that, but a broken funtime freddy is in the basement, with lots of parts missing. Funtime models were one of afton's first showtime anamatronics. They probably used him for parts. Such as his voice box for sun/moon, because if you pay attention, they have similar voices.
Also that scream of pain that sun made was probably the sound hurting his "ears". You can hear the sound when the chip is being activated if you are close enough, and it causes headaches and ear pain
So my conclusion: sun is a work of Afton Robotic designs.
