Gaster cut off a fragment off the left side of his soul, and that fragment was tested and experimented with until it made a new soul
that soul was put in a stasis pod, and slowly created a babybones (sans was born grinning, LeL)
Gaster was testing and writing the results down, everything was going smoothly. Then WDGs1 started to fall down. Gaster managed to save the child when it only had 1 HP.
after a while, Gaster took WDGs1 out of the pod, and was going to use him as a test subject, but couldn't bring himself to do so
the child was small, had only 1 HP, and was made with HIS soul
