Spain was split on left by Socialists and the right were the republicans and there was the Fascist party who wanted the king back

The Catalonians and Basques wanted to break away from Spain

In Febreuary 1936 elections in the Popular front formed the left wing groups in power

In July 1936 a wave of army revolts started in Morroco and Threatened to topple the Popular front supporters armed themselves and bitter civil war beganned on a Terrible Atrocities on both sides
