Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose , born on 23 January, 1897 was an Indian nationalist who attempted to liberate India from the British Empire by attempting to enter India from the north-eastern frontier with the help of his army (with sufficient help from the Japanese empire). However , due to lack of funds and other problems , The liberated territories were re-captured by the British. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, reportedly died in a plane crash in Taiwan while attempting to reach Manchuria.
