im bored so imma rant about my 2019 friends lol

Ever since they dissapear i always thpight they would come back.
2 years passed and no news from them.
And then in late 2021 they finally get on the app and talk to people.
Me being happy as hell tried to talk to them but they just spoke to me like im a random guy.
As if they forgot who i am.
After i talked to them i ask myself "why did i waste 2 years of my life in this hell when they wont even remember me after all that"

This happened to me twice now.
And now i saw another old friend on yt.
Should i say hi?
Should i leave him alone?
I don't know what to do.

I mean if you think they won’t even remember you you don’t have to say hi- you could just forget them. Or say hi or whatever
