So I have a plot twist…

So my “girlfriend” was sick from COVID-19 for three weeks, and in that time found a fifth grade neighbor to date instead. Apparently I was never her boyfriend in the first place, I am just a friend…but not only that. SHE SAYS HER BEST FRIEND IS DATING A “JERK”! So I’m not her best friend? I’m just an acquaintance probably. Dunno who this fifth grader is, she won’t tell me anything. She even tell me her boyfriend’s name! All she’s said is “a boy.” All the information I can gather currently is that he is a fifth grade preteen, he’s protected her in a snowball fight, he knows me, he is her neighbor, he has been known by her for three weeks, he “likes” her, and she “likes” him. She is definitely cheating on me. She said during Winter Break that she liked me and I confessed I liked her, but…she doesn’t like me. I’ve picked up this new “stress yell” every now and often where I yell out of stress randomly, and it is caused because I figured out the situation. Also, I can counter all those reasons I listed: I like her, she “liked” me, I protect her from a potentials student who posed a thread behind our backs, I am her age, a seventh grade preteen, I don’t know “him,” I’ve flirted with her for about three months, and we share a class. Now I am worried that “he” will betray her at some point.

I honestly don’t know at this point, I can take this time to practice loving myself while the fifth grader starts to wear down like her other “half bf half crush” who she broke up with, almost to be with me. Also I should apologize for my recent behavior. It was unnecessary and I feel like I can do better.

I need a challenge as soon as possible. Life’s too boring, and it’s too short to be boring. I need to find a way to have fun even with depression. Don’t forget,
SOMETIMES you gotta risk it for the biscuit.
