The British began an Offensive The Auk put Lieutenant-General Alan Cunningham to led the Offensive and try to Liberate Tobruk. On the 21st of November, the British had successfully communicated with the Besieged Tobruk. But they were countered attacked by the Panzers and were pushed back slowly.
Cunningham knows that Tobruk needed to be liberated but realized that his situation is dire and ordered a Retreat. The Auk was bitterly disappointed and Fired Lieutenant-General Cunningham and replaced by General Neil Ritchie.
