Rommel's African Corp was badly damaged attacking the Western powers was a deadly miscalculated disaster for Rommel and his Army. Montgomery was in Pursuit of the Italian Army which have badly been attacked by the Pursuing British. When Rommel attacked the British the Will to fight declined even more and the British managed to Repeled many of Rommels Attacks. The Desert Fox was mentally ill and knowing that Defeat was inevitable was called back to Europe. The Fuhrer was not impressed by the Results in Africa and planned for the Evacuation.
