Eastern Front | Part 30 | World War 2

Hitler amassed the Largest army in European History and began the Invasion on June 22, 1941, they planned for a Pron attack on the North, South, and Center.

The Soviet Red Army was completely unprepared for this Invasion and was suffered enormous Casualties during the First Week.

The German Army was being divided into 3 Groups

Army Group Center
The Army Group Center was the main attack of the Invasion and its Goal was to Capture Moscow

Army Group North
Their Goal was to Capture and Occupy Leningrad and secure the Flanks of the Army Group Center.

Army Group South
the main goal was getting all of the Valuable resources in the Caucasus Capturing Stalingrad and securing the Army group Center's Bottom Flank.

The Invasion of the Soviet Union or Operation Barbarossa was the Largest in Human and Military History. It wasn't just one of the Bloodiest Battles in History. It's also one of the Cruelest Parts of History.
