"What do you mean?" James Trod asked his flustered secretary, Chloe Tick. "Th-the Bloodthirsty Banterclaw!" She gasped. "It's...It's killing" -she gulped- "children!" James's eyes widened.

"We need the police or...FBI...or...what?"

"The FBI already came. The...the...m-monster was gone!"

James wasn't one to be heroic. He sat down in his chair and thought.

"We have to help." He decided.

“What? You…me?”

“Yes.” James said confidently.
“But first we need to find out where it came from.”

Chloe stopped shivering and said, “I’ll call a cab.”
