Operation Edelweiß would become Hitler's another fateful blow to his Empire and will decide the same fate as the Battle of Moscow.
Hitler commenced the Operation on July 25 1942 with over Estimation 179,000 Infantry, 1,147 Tanks, and 1,680 Guns. And Defeated the Soviets at Rostov-na-Donu and Krasnodar.
Joseph Stalin knew that if the Caucasus and Stalingrad fall it would be a demoralizing blow to the Allied Powers. So Stalin sent his Reserves to Stalingrad and the Caucasus to try to defend against the German Advance. The Germans were at the Outskirts of Stalingrad and would make a Deceive Battle between Hitler's Machinery Versus Stalin's Power of the People.
