Adolf Hitler Commenced Operation Edelweiß and began advancing South and defeating the Soviet Resistance south but still Manage to hold their Ground in the Mountains. Hitler's Army advanced at Stalingrad and outnumbered the Soviet Red Army in the City with the Advancing 6th Army.

The Battle would begin with a German Capture of the City but the Soviets manage to Evacuate the City's Soldiers. Stalingrad would prove to be costly for the Soviet and German Armies. In November the Soviets ordered Operation Uranus which was an Attack on the German weak flanks the Germans were overrun by the Soviets and the 6th Army was soon Cut off from supplies. Attempts have been made by the Germans to break the 6th Army out but it was no use. On February 13, 1943, the German Army on Stalingrad surrendered. When Hitler heard about this Disaster. Hitler was outraged by the defeat and Stalin, he knew that he changed the Tides of the War again.
