On December 5 2021 the Battle of the Capital took place in North Africa there was a man called The Lad and he saw a retreat on the left flank and he began encouraging the other soldiers to refresh the attack on the city but unfortunately when he led the attack he was shot in the neck and died a few weeks later due to infections he was recognized to be one of the heroes in 3rd Republic of North Africa’s history After the independence war the people built him a statue to honor him for his bravery today it’s the 2nd most visited statue in North Africa.
His words during the attack was “Don’t stop until you die” - The lad
