Why was the RMS Empress of Ireland forgotten?

Empress of Ireland known as the “Forgotten Empress” was a Transatlantic Vessel. The Ocean Liner was designed to be Route with the United Kingdom and Canada. Empress of Ireland was an impressive ship because of her stunning funnels and square bows and became popular in Canada and UK. But the Sinking of The Empress of Ireland is Canada's Worst Maritime Disaster in its History killing 1,012 People. The Ship has been overshadowed by the Sinking of Lusitania, Britannic, and Titanic and was forgotten getting its Nickname “Forgotten Empress” if you ask a Canadian to name a ship they'll say Titanic because it's more recognizable than the Empress of Ireland.

Empress of Ireland needs to be more recognized not because of the Tragedy it's because of the People who have died on board. Almost 40% of the Bodies of People on the Empress of Ireland were not recovered.
