Basically, Nyx was experimented on by Reymond (I'll draw him later on). And Juno is Reymond's son, but Reymond hates him so he experimented on a test subject that would come to kill Juno, and the test subject was Reynold (A.K.A Nyx).
yeah that's basically the entire storyline of Rivals.
