Western Front | Part 48 | “Battle of Falaise Pocket & Operation Dragoon”

The Allies were advancing slowly in the First Weeks at France, but slowly they double the size of the territory for the upcoming weeks. The Allies commanded by Bernard Montgomery and American Forces planned for an Encirclement of the Germans at The Falaise Pocket. And meanwhile, in South France, the Western Naval Task Force commanded by Vice Admiral Henry Kent Hewitt deployed the US 6th Army Group to invade Southern France to support the Invasion of Allied Forces in Normandy.
