Eastern Front | Part 49 | “Joining the Allied Advance”

The Romanians and The Soviets have fought minimal resistance in advancing through the Hungarian Plain Fields and now we're near the Capital City of Budapest. Bulgaria had joined the Allies and mobilized about 16,000 Conscripts to fight against Germany and its Allies. In Greece, the Allied Powers liberated several Islands in the Country and the Occupiers abandoned the Country with little resistance. The Soviets encircles 300,000 troops in Latvia and Planned to continue advancing through Germany and encircle part of their Army in the Baltic Sea the Operation would be infamous for the Germans later known as “Operation Hannibal” or the German “Dunkirk” Evacuation in 1945.
