The Forgotten Tragedy (Sinking of RMS Lancastria)

The Sinking of the RMS Lancastria was off the coast of St. Nazaire while part of Operation Aerial, carrying British troops to France two weeks after the evacuation of Dunkirk.

The Vessel was bombed by a German Bomber and about 4,000 Women and Children lost their lives in that horrible Tragedy. More deaths compared to the RMS Titanic.

Rest in Peace you may not be forgotten.
