You could just stretch it a little lol.

Squares have sides that are all equal, but rectangles have sides that are different sizes; 2 sides are often the same length, the other 2 sides are smaller or larger than the other sides. Your starting square sort of looked like a rectangle, but since this application has no rulers; wonky rectangle-squares are extremely common. From your 'smart' mama :)
