(So the part when i said they were black monsters ignore that k)The preta or purple tree was widely known to the island everyone wanted these fruits that were called Betas,betas are techinacally like devil fruits so why should i explain them so little thing the betas are dangerous and even the island elders and cheif knew that once someone had one of the beta's it woukd be hell everywhere they will just cause destruction wherever they go knowing that know one woukd listen to them they just hoped that the souks would kill them off warning them not to go try get one of thise fruits.Now the soul monsters,these monsters are actually souls used to to guard the preta you would look more differently if your soul wad uncurrpot,curropt and evil it would choose how your form would be.the souls are from the dead people from the tribe but in 1999 tgey dissapeared when the waza became a warzone never returning,but some say that there still there waiting for there next prey.thats the end of the history of preta and the monsters bye.
