I thought lip syncing it would be cool, but yeah the lore here is that he and taster were “partners “ well ink was his assistant, until, he became his experiment. Without a second option gaster knew he was dying, so he injected the only little part of him left…into a human soul..turning ink into a skeleton, and forever erasing his memories..(hence why he can’t remember things very well) though little by little over the years, he slowly got his memories back, about what happened, and his “family “ before all that..he also, met a lot of people during that time, and he eventually was able to turn back into a human.it’s been about almost 9 years science then, and well.. it’s been one hell of a ride..
