Why are other languages so funny?

I learned Filipino from my father and now can speak to other Filipinos. But, when I couldn’t understand other people, I held back my laugh. But like,

10,000 katao lang ang nakipagtalik sa akin. Pati an ang mga bakla.
I just has sex with 10,000 people. Including gay people.
