My mom just woke me up before I was about to fall asleep and now I'm pretty sure I saw what happens 2 seconds before you fall asleep

It kinda felt like if you were undergoing surgery and they gave you that gas(forgot the name) and the outside of my vision starting turning yellowish but then it flashed yellow when I got woken up
