if you want accurate ai music recs then instagram ads are actually better than spotify recommendations imo

i’ve liked most of the music that’s been recommended to me through instagram
i can’t say the same for spotify

but you gotta follow at least 10 of the artists you really like first and then after about a month of just natural behavior on the app it should start to recommend the really good stuff
