Life is hard

I like a guy and he likes me.. BUT he’s taking a relationship break
We would be a great couple and he’s such a good person and since we both like each other I asked him to the valentines dance and he said “As friends? Sure” 😭😭
And everybody at school makes it worse because they are always like “why aren’t y’all together?” “You two should date” like bruh life is hard
