Chapter 2: Takeoff

Even though Stormcloud was younger than Forest, he towered over her. As they stepped out of their cave home and onto a nearby cliff, Forest breathed in the fresh, cold, crisp morning air.

"It's a beautiful day today," they said. Stormcloud nodded in agreement.

"Yeah. A great day for school!" Forest was happy that Stormcloud was so excited for school. When Stormcloud was excited, the whole world seemed to brighten a bit.

They leapt off the cliff, diving and swooping through the air toward Fallfire Academy. A few other dragons from a nearby village waved at the two flyers, and Forest waved back. Soon, The siblings were at the academy, ready to learn.
