Something similar happened to me only, when I was in a dark room I was hearing footsteps and I was looking around and saw something vaguely move and went to get closer keep in mind there was a little bit of light in this room but not enough to tell anything apart I get closer bumping through objects until I get a close view and see the thing start moving even more, I throw a punch at it and I find out it was my Reflection of mirror and it hurt my hand right after
